Dean Wilcox

A design professional in brand consultancy/design and online media, Dean has extensive experience with branding and online projects for some of the world’s most recognized companies such as Hyatt, Caterpillar, Black & Decker, Microsoft, HP, Visa and Seagate. His work has been recognized by the AIGA, CLIO, NY Type Directors Club, LA Art Directors Club, NY Art Directors Club, American Corporate Identity Annuals, Creativity Annuals, CA Interactive Design Annual, Web Marketing Association WebAward and the Intranet Design Annual (Nielsen Norman Group).

A graduate of Art Center College of Design, Dean was with Landor Associates in New York and San Francisco and was the Creative Director for Digital Branding. In that role he was responsible for the total deliverable of interactive projects from strategy, user experience, information architecture and design to testing and implementation.

After Landor, he was Creative Director at Classroom Connect, a leading provider of professional development programs and online instructional materials for the K-12 education market. There he managed a team of user experience architects, copywriters, UI and Flash designers and worked closely with both the front and backend engineers to insure a quality experience for the users.

Currently living in Sausalito, he has a modest practice in branding and online media where he wears many hats. Current and past clients include Chevron, Accenture, HP, Visa International, the California State Automobile Association, UC Davis and McKesson. Dean also teaches corporate identity and branding part-time at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
